Erin Platvoet: Front End Developer (copy on top of image of lightning bolt at Nubble Light in York Beach, Maine - the same bolt my husband proposed to me to!)

about me:

Hi! My name is Erin, and I changed careers in 2020 to pursue my web development dreams!

Erin Platvoet

Like many others, 2020 had me re-evaluate some aspects of life, and I decided to start a new chapter of my story. In October 2020, I completed the Full-Stack Web Development Coding Bootcamp at Rutgers University, and was offered my first web development position at Real Chemistry later that month. Almost 4 years later, I still wake up every day thankful that I decided to jump outside of my comfort zone!

At Real Chemistry, a healthcare marketing agency, I was able to continue strenghting myself on the front-end side. While I built several types of deliverables, I had a passion for e-mails and Veeva CLM presentations. After completing 9 Veeva certifications, I began specializing in Veeva deliverables and eventually became the lead developer for Veeva CLM & Approved Email projects. Recognized as a strategic thinker and proactive problem-solver who can handle fast-paced environments, I thrive on delivering high-quality, impactful solutions.

a little more about me:

I love to travel, and have a goal of hitting all 50 states by the age of 50. I'm currently at 32/50! I've also added a few stamps to my passport & can't wait to fill that up either! ✈️

There is absolutely nothing like being surrounded by fellow fans and singing our hearts out to our favorite lyrics - so I can often be found at a concert, especially during the summer.
It was never a phase! 🤘🏼

To me, March Madness is truly the most wonderful time of
the year. My teams are UNC & Seton Hall. 🏀
